We are currently looking to appoint a part-time bilingual School Receptionist to join Aloha College Marbella from September 2021.
The School Receptionist is the first point of call for visitors to the school, parents, staff and children. As the â€˜faceâ€™ of the school the receptionist should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the School in a professional and friendly manner. In addition it is essential that the receptionist is organized, able to multitask, work flexibly and have a â€˜can doâ€™ approach to work, as no two days are the same. The receptionist is also required to assist the Head of Admissions with various administrative tasks, requiring a good level of IT skills.
Some of the responsibilities will include:
â€¢ Answers phone calls in a pleasant, informed manner for the purpose of providing information and creating a good image of the school.
â€¢ Manages telephone message system.
â€¢ Assists in all aspects of maintaining a professional front office, including but not limited to, fielding and directing incoming phone calls to the appropriate staff member in a timely, professional manner, filing and copying of sensitive information.
â€¢ Able to establish and maintain satisfactory working relationships with other employees, children, and the general public.
â€¢ Exhibits high standards of professional conduct.
â€¢ Assists students and others with routine problems.
â€¢ Provide general administrative support to the school as required.
â€¢ Understands, accepts, and abides by the Schoolâ€™s philosophy and mission statement in all his/her school activities.
â€¢ Able to read, comprehend and apply job-related written material and make decisions in accordance with applicable school system policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will:
â€¢ Be bi-lingual in English and Spanish.
â€¢ Have good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, database, and Google environments.
â€¢ Have high level of communication and presentation skills.
â€¢ Have excellent time management skills.
â€¢ Multi tasks and be flexible.
â€¢ Have the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure.
â€¢ Be highly methodical and pay attention to details.
â€¢ Be punctual, smart, good attendance.
â€¢ Have excellent customer care and communicational skills.
â€¢ Have good understanding and knowledge of mixed culture environments.
â€¢ Have the ability to work independently.
