- Description: Colegio Internacional Torrequebrada (CIT), part of the Affinitas Education group and an IB continuum school (PYP, MYP and Diploma Programme), is seeking to appoint a Music Teacher to inspire our students\' creativity and musicianship across the school.

Working hours: 12 hours per week
Contract type: Permanent
Start date: 24th August
Key responsibilities
*Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons across Primary, aligned with the IB framework.
*Foster students\' practical musicianship, including singing, instrumental performance, composition and listening skills.
*Prepare and lead students in school performances, concerts and cultural events.
*Encourage creativity, collaboration and self-expression through music.
*Adapt teaching approaches to accommodate a range of abilities and learning needs.
*Maintain musical instruments and resources, and ensure a safe and organised music room environment.
*Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary units and school-wide events.
*Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding student progress.
Requirements
- Requirements: Requirements
* A relevant teaching qualification in Music Education (or equivalent), and/or a strong background as a practising musician.
* Proficiency in at least one instrument.
* Previous experience teaching music to children and/or young people, ideally in an international or bilingual setting.
* Good level of English (spoken and written).
* Enthusiasm, creativity and a genuine passion for making music accessible and enjoyable for all students.
Desirable
* Active experience as a performing musician (band, orchestra, choir, or similar).
* Ability to read and arrange music for mixed-ability student groups.
