We are seeking a passionate and highly qualified MYP Geography & History Teacher to join our vibrant international community on the Costa del Sol. The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven lessons aligned with the IB Middle Years Programme framework, fostering critical thinking, global mindedness, and a love of inquiry in students from diverse backgrounds.
Key responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality MYP Individuals & Societies lessons integrating Geography and History across year groups 1–5.
Design meaningful assessments using MYP criteria and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to develop interdisciplinary units of inquiry.
Maintain accurate records on Google classroom and iSAMS and contribute to parent–teacher communication.
Support co-curricular activities, trips, and the wider school community.
Participate in professional development, IB training, and school self-study processes.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Geography, History, or a related Humanities field.
Recognised teaching qualification (Master in teaching in Spain).
Experience teaching within an IB MYP or international curriculum context.
Excellent English language skills (C1/C2 or native); additional Spanish is desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and a student-centred approach.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.
