  • Descripción: King’s College, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Summer Camp STEAM Teacher to join our teaching team on a temporary basis.

    Key responsibilities and Accountabilities:

    General duties

    • Staff must respect the guidelines set down by King’s College S.L.
    • Staff is required to attend the Training Day/planning sessions before the start of the Course.
    • Staff is responsible for ensuring that they maintain good standards of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
    • The uniform provided by King’s College S.L. should be worn at all times as well as suitable footwear.
    • All staff should arrive on the agreed starting date (to be confirmed).
    • Staff should follow the Non-Residential course timetable and be punctual at all times.
    • Be willing to work a flexible timetable.
    • Be responsible, professional and flexible in all your duties.
    • Ensure that children are given adequate care when feeling unwell or injured.
    • Be responsible for the well-being of the children in your class and all the children on the course.
    • Maintain an awareness and observation of fire, health and safety regulations.
    • Unpacking and packing with teachers of course material (start and end of Summer Course).
    • Work as part of a team.


    Duties

    • Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive and engaging S.T.E.A.M. program for campers of all ages and levels, incorporating hands-on activities and projects that promote learning
    and exploration.
    • Manage and supervise S.T.E.A.M. staff, including S.T.E.A.M. instructors and assistants, and ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver quality
    programming.
    • Collaborate with other camp staff to integrate S.T.E.A.M. programming into other camp activities and events, including evening programs and campfires.
    • Ensure that all S.T.E.A.M. activities are safe and age-appropriate, and that all staff and campers adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Assess camper progress in S.T.E.A.M. activities and provide feedback to parents and guardians.
    • Manage S.T.E.A.M. supplies and equipment, and work with the Camp Director to maintain inventory and order new materials as needed.
    • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, community organizations, and other stakeholders in support of the camp\'s S.T.E.A.M. programming.
    • Attend regular meetings with the Camp Director and other program heads to discuss programming, staff management, and camper progress.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Camp Director.

    Experience:

    Teaching: 3 years
